Monster Munch Popcorn Mix
Makes about 16 servings
Ingredients:
8 cups popcorn made without salt or fat
2 teaspoons canola oil
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon salt
16 large, clear plastic food handler’s gloves
80 dried cranberries
16 pieces raffia or ribbon, each 8 inches long
Directions:
Put popcorn in a large bowl. Drizzle with 1/4 teaspoon canola oil, and stir well. Reapeat process once more. Mix sugar, cinnamon and salt in a small bowl. Drizzle popcorn with remaining oil, and stir well. Sprinkle with sugar mixture, and stir again. Place one dried cranberry in the thumb and fingers of each glove to resemble fingernails. Divide popcorn evenly between gloves. Tie closed with raffia.

Pumplin Spice Granola
Makes about 24 servings
Ingredients:
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/4 cup maple syrup or honey
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons canola oil
1/3 cup unsweetened applesauce
4 cups old-fashioned oats
1/2 cup dried cranberries
1/2 cup raisins
1/3 cup mini chocolate chips, optional
24 fold-and-close sandwich bags
Green curling ribbon or rafia
Black cardstock paper
Glue
Directions:
Mix cinnamon through applesauce together in a large, microwave-safe bowl, stirring well. Microwave on high 1 minute, stirring half-way through. Add oats, and stir well. Microwave on high for 6 minutes, stirring every 2 minutes. Stir in cranberries and raisins. Cool completely, and stir in chocolate chips. Divide granola between bags, and tie closed, curling ribbon to make pumpin “leaves and vines” at the top of the bag (“stem”). Using black paper, cut two eyes and a mouth for each bag, and glue onto the front of the bags.
